Daily Deviation

Given 2006-07-09

I love the combination of black and dark red, which is what orignially caught my eye in Mephistophelia by =ivanushka. Upon closer inspection, I was amazed by the attention to detail and clean coloring style. Don't miss the fullview! (Featured by `silentkitty)

I think this is my favorite piece of yours, Ivan! The smooth shading looks amazing, and I especially love the soft quality to the girl's hair *__*. I love all of the red and black too. I've been into that color scheme too lately XD XD. It is teh awesome :nod:. I just really think you did a very nice job uniting the entire picture with a destinct color scheme with the smaller color palette. I think it makes the whole piece come together very well. The graphic design in this also is a very nice touch, like the ribbons with the gold edges :nod:. It all just looks very clean and refined :D. This is a wonderful Eli***** piece. Totally faving XD XD

Ah, big fan of the red and black;) I love how you've added the cool tones too, it really gives the image some great depth. The way her head is cocked is nice, she's cute and sassy with the hair over one eye bit goin on. Very nice! I look forward to seeing more:)
